Studio 1 Snapshot. 

Mundaring Learning welcomes Frank Smith - Master Potter and Glaze Specialist.  Frank's qualifications include a Diploma of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Arts Degree - Ceramics Major.  In addition to this training, Frank also completed extra units in Ceramic Technology and is exceptionally skilled in the chemistry of glazing and firing.
 
 Frank has worked in the industry as a Lecturer for a number of well known instutions and as an Art Technician at the Claremont School of Art.

Frank will be conducting wheel pottery classes at Mundaring Learning for intermediate students on Thursday mornings from 28th April.  Contact Raffaella on 0421 569 134 to enquire about evening classes.

Studio 1 will also be the venue for Clay Sculpture classes with Cathy Swioklo, Introduction to Hand Building with Katrina Rogers and Beginners Wheel Classes with Brenda Faithfull.

Studio 1 is set in the picturesque Perth Hills and surrounded by native flora and wildlife.   Our students are sure to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and may even get a visit from our friendly kangaroos, quendas and chatty magpies.

Come and visit our groovy "Frock 'n' Flippers" Op Shop.  You could be surprised at what you may find - from aspidistras to a zebra patterned box.  Wondering why you will find a plant at an Op Shop - we also have a small on site plant nursery too!
